Connect With Us:

The Construction Sector Network is an exciting and innovative initiative that has been established to lead and support the construction sector in the Yorkshire & Humber region. The network will be ‘business-led’ and aims to act as a catalyst for best practice, networking events and exemplar projects - all with the aim of benefiting stakeholders and clients from across industry.
Hosted by Leeds Metropolitan University within the School of the Built Environment, the network will act as a central hub for industry knowledge and the sharing of best practice. Working in close partnership with other agencies, the Construction Sector Network will deliver knowledge, skills, and services to all members of the construction supply chain - from clients through to construction delivery teams and product suppliers.
The Construction Sector Network is funded by Yorkshire Forward, the region's development agency, and is supported by a Business-Led Management Board, consisting of executive representatives from across the construction sector. Delivery of the Construction Sector Network's action plan is led by its Chief Executive Officer, supported by the Project Coordinator and Project Administrator.
Our Aim
The Construction Sector Network aims to become the first port of call for the industry, offering solutions and access to a wide range of general support. As required, the Construction Sector Network will also signpost to other useful sources of information on regional market intelligence, emerging construction techniques, technologies and legislation.
Acting as an umbrella network to create a platform to link together all the diverse communities within the region, the Construction Sector Network will also focus on current issues such as sustainable buildings and communities within construction and work with our partners and stakeholders across the sector to make a real difference to businesses in this region.
